A Sizzling Sykesville Summer
Okay, it's Summer, the grass is baking and so are you, if you dare step outside. Meanwhile, the kids are already bored and maybe driving you nuts. So what are you going to do between now and school? Well, hopefully lots, and some of it without ever leaving town.

Ivy Wells, the town’s Main Street Manager, and the person who makes things happen, has done her best to pack the schedule with fries, nachos, crafts, candy, vendors, Rock ‘n Roll, and even some Shakespeare. (Man, those costumes must be hot.)
The award winning Apple Butter Markets are going at South Branch Park the last Sunday of each month, and of course, there will be the ice cream and music of the Concerts in the Park, in the cool (hopefully) of the evening under the big old trees in Millard Cooper Park.
And all free.
So check out our special Summer Page for the rundown. And don’t forget to “like” our Snallygaster Facebook site and visit the Snallygaster blog, where we’ll be covering it all.

Note: Sykesville Online is an independent organization and not officially affiliated with the town of Sykesville. We just like it.
